Nick Dudding is a Consultant Biomedical Scientist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Assistant Director for the Training Centre. He has been working in cervical cytology since 1987 and involved in training since 1989.

He is currently a member of The Institute of Biomedical Sciences and The British Society of Clinical Cytology

He currently sit on the following committees/groups:-

  • NHS Cervical Screening Programme National Cervical Cytology Education and Training Committee.
  • NHSCSP Invasive Audit Management Group
  • NHS Cervical Screening Programme National internal verifiers group for City & Guilds
  • NHSCSP Training Centres Assessment Management Group
  • Member of the International Academy of Cytology (IAC) renewals and registration sub committee

Professional Examiner

Nick is currently an examiner for the National Health Service Cervical Screening Programme City & Guilds Diploma in Cervical Cytology and was previously an examiner for the NHS CSP Certificate Examination in Cervical Cytopathology (1995 – 2003).
