This course aims to provide an update and refresher in the fields of salivary gland and thyroid cytology.
Thyroid and salivary gland cytology each present their own individual challenges for the pathologist reporting this. The workshop aims to cover both the common entities and those perhaps less common conditions which may cause diagnostic difficulty. The focus of the workshop will be not only on the cytology, but also on clinical consequences for patients.
The day is aimed at specialist registrars and qualified pathologists wishing to have a refresher and workshop in these areas. BMS applicants will be accepted.
