After nearly 9 years Manchester NHS Foundation Trust have decided to withdraw from the strategic partnership that was originally formed in 2016 to strengthen cytology education programmes across the North of England. We would like to take this opportunity to thank MFT for their many years of staffing support and training acumen.
The North of England Pathology and Screening Education Centre will continue to run from our Training Centre base in Wakefield. With the ongoing support of South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw Pathology and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, NEPSEC will continue to provide the same level of training and support as we have over the years.
We also look forward to bringing some exciting news of a new collaboration with another cytology service in the near future. Watch this space!
