This is a two day course aimed at fulfilling the BSCCP training requirement to attend a cytology laboratory.  On completion of the course participants will be able to sign off their requirements to visit a cytology laboratory.  The histology component of this workshop is designed to help participants correlate the histology with the cytology and participants are still expected to attend their local histology department.

 

The advantage of using the Manchester facility is that the participants will be able to have a tour of the laboratory facilities in addition to the usual cytology case exposure.  A tour of the virology lab is also scheduled.

 

Participants will be provided with written training materials, reflection sheets and issued with a certificate on completion.

Cost: £150 per day (includes lunch and refreshments)
